The astronauts are training for the shuttle Discovery during mission STS-95 (29th October-7th November 1998). They are participating in an underwater simulation of contingency tasks. Robinson and Duque were joined on the mission by: Chiaki Naito-Muka, Scott F. Parazynski, mission specialist; John H. Glenn ; Curtis L. Brown, mission commander; Steven W. Lindsey, pilot. The purposes of this mission were to conduct experiments and launch and retrieve the Spartan satellite.
