Return to Flight astronauts. These seven astronauts were on board space shuttle Discovery on mission STS-114, the Return to Flight, which launched on 26th July 2005. This was the first mission since the loss of Columbia on re-entry on 1st February 2003. The left column comprises, from left, Andrew Thomas (waving), Charles Camarda, Wendy Lawrence and pilot James Kelly. The right column comprises Stephen Robinson, Soichi Noguchi (representing the Japanese Space Agency) and is led by mission commander Eileen Collins. STS-114 will dock with the International Space Station and also test some of the shuttle's new safety features.
