External fuel tank after separation from the Space Shuttle Atlantis at the end of the launch phase of mission STS-110. The fuel tank is disposable, and will fall to Earth, burning up on re-entry. STS-110 flew to the International Space Station to continue its construction. The mission lasted from 8th-19th April 2002.
