Hand and solar powered radio. When no electrical power is available, this radio is equipped with 2 non-electrical ways to power it: a carbon steel spring, hand-wound, and a solar power panel. The hand energy is stored in the spring by winding the crank handle, the spring then releases the energy on demand. The solar panel generates electricity from sunlight which is then stored in the batteries. Designed for countries where electricity is absent or unreliable, or for use in emergencies.
