Little Boy (left) and Fat Man (right), models of the first atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, in August 1945. The two bombs killed a total of more than 200,000 people. Each bomb had a power of 20 kilotons or an explosive power equal to that of 20,000 tons of high explosive TNT. These models are housed in National Atomic Museum, Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.
