Caption

Dog no-fouling sign with a dog. The sign is meant to remind people to clean up after their dogs. One risk with decomposing dog faeces is that they can, if the dog is infected, contain eggs from Toxocara canis, a roundworm. The risk is small, but if the eggs are ingested by humans, blindness can result. Photographed at a beach at Le Havre, France.
