Sewer inspection robot in position in a sewer. The Ka-Te system of sewer robotics provides autonomous robots that are designed to clean and smooth the inside of pipes that are too small to be accessed by people. Some robots possess drilling or grinding arms to remove tree roots or excess concrete. This robot is fitted with lights and a camera (upper centre) to record images of the inside of the sewer as it travels through it. This will help in the identification of problems such as leaks. Ka-Te robots are manufactured in Freienbach, Switzerland.
