Caption

Entertainer android robot. View of Sarcos, an android (human-like) entertainment robot, posing as if about to contemplate his next brush stroke on a life-like robot mask. His actions prompt the question: "Will robots one day replace human beings ?" Sarcos was developed at SARCOS Research Corporation in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. He was built to serve as the master of ceremonies or introduction host. The actions of Sarcos are either preprogrammed or run in real time. Mouth movements link with an audio system, while sensors record degrees of body, limb and finger movements. His abilities do not yet extend to painting.
