Circuit boards. View of a printed circuit board used in electronic car keys attached to the sheet on which it was manufactured. The gold paths seen here link electronic components on the boards. This sheet will be cut up and each individual circuit board used in a separate key. The dark circle at lower centre marks the position of the button used to activate the key. Electronic car keys allow locks to be opened over a short distance, removing the need to physically turn a key. They are also used to activate and deactivate car alarm systems.
