Lottery balls. British national lottery balls which are individually numbered from 1 to 49. Contestants mark six numbers on special cards before the draw. At the draw, six of the numbered balls are randomly selected. The jackpot is shared between the contestants who chose all six winning numbers. The odds on winning the jackpot are about 14 million to one.
