Caption

Nanorobots in bloodstream. Computer illustration of nanorobots travelling with disc-like red blood cells through a blood vessel. These tiny robots may be used to detect and repair defects in the body's organs and tissues. Powered by a small propeller, they could travel to their pre- programmed destination through tubes such as the blood vessels. Damaged or blocked blood vessels themselves could be repaired from within to restore healthy blood flow.
