Internet. Conceptual computer artwork of computer screens linked by a network. The connecting links branch out in a similar way to the dendrites that connect neurons (nerve cells) in the human body and particularly in the brain. This represents the power of networking, both for computers and also for neurons. The most famous computer network is the worldwide network called the internet. It is a vast storehouse of information, using computers to transmit this information to human brains (which are neural networks). The number of connections in a human brain still vastly outnumbers the number of connections in the internet.
