Virtual reality archaeology. Researchers using virtual reality goggles to view a Roman artefact recovered from an archaeological site. The object is being viewed on the Hemicyclia, which consists of a large curved screen that produces a panoramic, semi-circular view. This work is being carried out at LABRI (Laboratoire Bordelais de Recherche en Informatique), the data processing research laboratory at the University of Bordeaux, France.
