Reverberation chamber. Researcher inside an reverberation chamber, a room used for testing acoustic equipment. The room is specifically designed to maximise echoing (the reflection of sound waves) in order to see their effects on acoustic equipment. Its temperature is controlled by an air-conditioned void surrounding the chamber and it has acoustically reflective non-parallel walls. Photographed at the National Physical Laboratory in Teddington, UK.
