Ammeter and voltage multiplier. Analogue ammeter (right) used for measuring the electric current in a circuit, displaying it in amperes. To its left is a voltage multiplier, a circuit which converts low DC (direct current) voltage to a higher DC voltage. It does this using a network of diodes and capacitors.
