Unmanned aircraft. Computer artwork of low altitude airships (top right, centre and middle left) and propellor driven planes (centre right and lower right). These aircraft are powered by solar cells and designed to cruise at low altitude. They can combine in formation to form a telecommunications network in remote areas or be used for spying and military reconnaissance. These aircraft may one day offer a cheap alternative to satellites.
