Solar powered navigational buoy. Buoys are distinctly shaped and coloured floats, anchored to the sea bottom. The solar panels (upper centre, black) provide electricity for the light beacon (top centre). Buoys are used as maritime navigational aids and to warn of dangers, such as submerged rocks or sandbanks seen across upper centre.
