Channel Tunnel train. Two Channel Tunnel trains pass each other on a railway track. The Channel Tunnel provides a rail link between Britain and France. The trains travel from London to Paris in about three hours. The trains travel at 140 kilometres (km) per hour through the 39km-long tunnel, whilst the top overland speed is 298km per hour. Photograph of trains operated by the Eurostar company near Ashford in Kent, Britain. North Pole International Depot at Acton, London, had reached #970 million by mid-1993.
