HeliFlight helicopter flight simulator. This is a single-seat flight simulator that can simulate a helicopter or a fixed-wing aircraft. It can be used for training purposes, and the Flightlab software also allows it to be programmed to simulate new aircraft designs to study their behaviour. The cabin contains five screens, giving a view of the computer-generated environment. It is mounted on six hydraulic legs that give the realistic movement that is essential when training pilots. HeliFlight was jointly developed by Advanced Rotorcraft Technology and Motionbase Plc. This simulator is at the University of Liverpool, England.
