Research submarine. Remora 2000 two-seater submarine surfacing after carrying out archaeological research. It is being recovered by the research vessel Minibex. The Remora 2000 is manufactured by Comex. The clear acrylic bubble is 9.5cm thick. The submarine can manoeuvre with five thrusters. Its on-board computer can automatically maintain a fixed depth or heading. It can operate at depths as great as 610 metres, for up to 10 hours. Photographed off the Mediterranean coast of France, during research on the Sud-Caveaux 1 ancient wreck site.
