Marine archaeology. Remotely-operated submarine being used to collect amphorae from the seabed. This is during the investigation of the 1st century BC sud-Caveaux wreck site, 63 metres below the surface off the Mediterranean coast of France. An amphora is a type of jug widely used in the ancient world to hold wine and oils.
