Newtsuit rescue diver from the French Navy with the Achilles underwater vehicle. This vehicle allows supplies and equipment to be taken by the diver in rescue situations. The Newtsuit is a purpose built scuba diving apparatus, which can descend to depths of up to 250 metres. It is designed for rapid response in order to assist in the rescue of submarines. The Newtsuit can be deployed on a stricken submarine within a day, and provide much needed oxygen and food supplies until the rescue submarines arrive.
