Newtsuit rescue diver, from the French Navy, leaving the diving cage. This cage is used to lower the diver into the water. He then uses a thruster backpack to move around. The Newtsuit is an atmospheric diving suit (ADS) that can descend to depths of over 250 metres while keeping the diver at atmospheric pressure. Fluid- filled flexible joints (black) provide great dexterity. The suit can be used for a wide range of underwater work, such as salvage and aiding submarine rescue. Photographed in the Mediterranean Sea.
