Diver and shipwreck at the surface. This is the wreck of the Skipjack II, a Japanese fishing boat that was sunk at the end of its working life. The bow protrudes about 5 metres above the surface of the water. It lies in the channel separating the Felivaru and Gaaerifaru islands of the Hinnavaru region of the Maldives in the Indian Ocean. Wrecks are popular as diving sites for the coral growth and fish found there. Photographed in 2003.
