Scuba divers filming at an oil rig off the coast of Louisiana, USA. The three thousand oil rigs near the Louisiana coast form artificial reefs that support a wide variety of reef-associated fish. Their existence is so important to the commercial and recreational fishing industries in Louisiana that financial incentives are in place to encourage oil companies to keep the rigs in place after they cease to be productive. Photographed at High Island oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico, USA.
