Fishing ship draws in its purse seine net so that the catch of fish can pumped out of the net into the ship's hold. The fish being caught here are capelin, Plecoglossus altivelis. Capelin are found in the Arctic and the northernmost parts of the Pacific. They are usually used to make fishmeal. Photographed off the coast of southern Iceland.
