Dead fin whale (Balaenoptera physalus). This whale was caught by fishermen (right) and is now being cut up on a dock. The fin whale is found in seas all over the world and migrates depending on whether it is the breeding or feeding season. Fin whales feed on crustacea, squid and fish. This whale is the second largest cetacean, with the largest individuals reaching weights of 70 tonnes and lengths of 30 metres.
