This is the Baccarat glassware factory in Baccarat, France. The Baccarat company is a famous manufacturer of fine crystal glassware. The glassware industry in the town was founded in the 18th century, and the production of fine crystal glassware began in 1816. Crystal glass is glass that includes relatively high levels of lead oxide, which increases the sparkle of the glass.
