Power station demolition. Cooling towers next to the ruins of a power station. The cooling towers were used to condense the cooling water turned to steam by the power station. This power station is in Beddington, near Croydon, London, England. The cooling towers of the Croydon power stations were demolished in 1974 (the 'A' power station) and 1985 (the 'B' power station).
