Newspaper production on a modern printing press. The press seen here is used to produce a local newspaper. The paper is emerging from the press, and has been printed on both sides. It is then taken through the folder/slitter to begin the process of being assembled into a finished newspaper. The plates in each press contain up to 16 pages of the newspaper, and may produce anything up to 60,000 copies per hour for large circulations.
