Rubber manufacture. Worker uses a scale to weigh out a mixture for the manufacture of rubber. Crude rubber (caoutchouc) is obtained from the sap or latex of rubber trees, Hevea sp.. The caoutchouc is mixed with other chemicals during the manufacture of rubber to alter the strength, stiffness, chemical properties or colour of the final product.
