Eye scanning. Conceptual computer artwork of a target (pink) over a human eye and binary digits (zero and one, down right). Both iris and retinal scanning, image parts of the eye that are unique to each individual. In iris scanning a computer divides the iris scan into areas from which it recognises unique iris features. The data can then be used to identify the individual if the eye has been previously scanned.
