Wright seaplane on the Miami river, near Dayton, Ohio, USA, in May 1913. Orville and Wilbur Wright continued to develop their aircraft design following the first ever powered flight at Kitty Hawk in 1903. This model code named the CH was a float plane, a type of seaplane, which took off from water using a float connected to the aircraft's undercarriage.
