Bee hairs. Coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of hairs on the head of an unidentified bee (superfamily Apoidea). These hairs trap grains of pollen (one at centre) that come from the flowers on which the bee feeds. The pollen is transported between flowers in a process called pollination.
