Bee hairs. Coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of hairs on the leg of a honey bee (Apis mellifera). These hairs trap pollen grains (small round objects) from the flowers on which the bee feeds. The pollen is transported between flowers in a process called pollination. Magnification: x75 at 6x7cm size.
