Swallowtail butterfly (Papilio neumoegeni) specimen. Swallowtails (family Papilionidae) are named for the characteristic tail-like extensions of the hindwings. Adults and larvae are usually distasteful to predators. This specimen is from the Sumba Island in Indonesia.
