Butterfly (order Lepidoptera) feeding on a flower head from a butterfly bush (Buddleia sp.). It is feeding on nectar, a sweet liquid produced by some flowers. The butterfly bush is named for its ability to attract large numbers of butterflies. These may play a role in pollination (transferring pollen between plants). Photographed in England.
