Tailless whipscorpion. Close-up of the specialized pincers of this nocturnal spider relative (Phryna grossetaitai). The tailless whipscorpion has no silk glands and lacks a tail with a poison gland to attack and catch prey. Instead it uses stealth and its large pincers.
