Caption

Giant house spider. Giant house spider (Tegenaria gigantea) next to a plug hole in a bath. These house spiders are common in European and North American households. Unlike the smaller hobo spiders (T. atrica) giant house spiders have no aversion to heights and are often found above ground level. Often they will fall and become trapped in a bath or sink as seen here.
