Sea urchin (Stylocidaris affinis). Sea urchins are echinoderms, relatives of the starfish. S. affinis possess a rigid body covered in numerous movable venomous spines, which protects it from predators. It feeds on algae and other organic material that is scraped from the surface of rocks.
