Sea cucumber (Thelenota ananas). Close-up of a sea cucumber's knobbly skin. The sea cucumber is an echinoderm and is related to starfish and sea urchins. It feeds on detritus from the sea floor using tube feet around its mouth. The largest sea cucumbers can reach two metres in length.
