Sea lily (Endoxocrinus sp.). Sea lilies, or crinoids, are ancient organisms that are found in the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea. They are sessile as they are permanently attached to the seabed by a stalk. They have many feathery arms radiating from a central round body. Small organisms are caught in the mucus of the arms and conveyed to the mouth. Photographed in the Bahamas, Caribbean.
