Sea squirts. Mixed group of sea squirts (ascidians), including one Rhopalaea sp. (green) and several smaller Pycnoclavella sp. (blue). These tunicate animals filter plankton from the water current which circulates through them. They are sedentary in their adult stage (seen here), but have free-swimming larvae. Photographed in Mabul, Malaysia.
