Caribbean reef shark (Carcharhinus perezi). This shark inhabits the western Atlantic, including the Gulf of Mexico. It is a quick and agile hunter, preying on large bony fish. Caribbean reef sharks can grow to a length of 3 metres and weigh up to 70 kilograms. Photographed off the coast of The Bahamas.
