Caption

Poppy seeds in a falling water droplet, high-speed photograph. The poppy seeds have surface protuberances that are wettable (receptive to moisture), while the rest of the seed is water repellent. This allows the seeds to be held by the surface tension of the droplet of water and to be transported.
