Tawny nurse shark (Nebrius ferrugineus). This bottom-dwelling shark inhabits the tropical Indo- Pacific region. It feeds on crustaceans, cephalopods, sea urchins and small fish. Although docile, it has been known to attack divers if severely annoyed. It may reach a length of over three metres. It prefers sandy seabeds down to a depth of around 70 metres.
