Sicklefin lemon shark (Negaprion acutidens) being handled by a scuba diver on a coral reef. A shoal of blue-striped snapper (Lutjanus kasmira) is scattering from the shark. This shark may reach a length of over 3.5 metres, and is dangerous if provoked. It inhabits reefs in the tropical Indo- Pacific region. Photographed off Moorea Island, French Polynesia.
