Long-jaw squirrel fish. Long-jaw squirrel fish (Holocentrus marianus) above coral. This is a nocturnal fish which inhabits the deeper reefs of the Caribbean Sea. It eats smaller fish and crustaceans. It is thought to be territorial, with each individual defending a patch of seabed. Photographed off Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands.
