Blackcap basslet fish (Gramma melacara). This small fish inhabits reefs in the Caribbean Sea, preferring deeper water. It is rarely seen above ten metres down, and lives to depths of over 60 metres. It hides in rock and reef crevices when disturbed. An adult blackcap basslet reaches a maximum length of around 10 centimetres.
