Piranha fish. Head of a piranha fish (Serrasalmus sp.). This fish inhabits freshwater rivers in South America. It can reach a length of 60 centimetres and has strong jaws and razor-sharp teeth. The piranha swims in large groups, feeding on other fish. It will also attack other animals, including humans.
